Ratmalana

Ratmalana, is a multifaceted suburb of Colombo, blending residential charm with industrial and commercial activity. It is perhaps best known for hosting the Ratmalana Airport, which primarily serves domestic flights and is a key aviation training center in the country. The area is a blend of local tradition and modern development, with a variety of businesses, factories, and educational institutions, including the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, contributing to its vibrant community.

The Airport is also home to the Sri Lanka Air Force Museum. This museum offers a glimpse into the history of aviation in Sri Lanka, showcasing a range of aircraft and memorabilia that highlight the air force's evolution and achievements.
